Bill Vachon
Appollo missions

Bill was a NASA engineer in mission control. He graduated MIT with 3 degrees in Mechanical engineering. During and after the Apollo years (ending in 1973), he spent time designing, building and deploying instruments in the deep ocean - to support oceanographic measurements. He left the Draper Lab in 1977 and worked for the consulting firm Arthur D. Little (ADL) for about 7 years.  Then, he started his own consulting business, with an emphasis on wind energy.
