Welcome! The Manchester-Essex Rotary Club is now enjoying its 8th year, and is going strong! . We continue to grow in numbers and our service projects are vast and numerous. We are active in many international projects in all parts of the world, and are striving to achieve Rotary International’s goal of polio eradication worldwide. We are also active participants in the clean water project, providing clean and safe drinking water to countries in need, as well as the rotoplast project which performs surgery to children in countries where such procedures are neither available nor affordable. Most recently we have affiliated with the village of Catarina in Nicaragua and are providing clothing and medical supplies. We continue to work with the Manchester Essex School district, and the newly established High School Interact Club, providing good and services to local food pantries, animal hospitals and various other projects. Our annual scholarship is one of the largest gifts to the students. We also sponsor the annual Green and White Breakfast the Saturday before Thanksgiving to honor students in leadership roles in the High School. The Club has also been active in the Cape Ann food pantry, funding quarterly dinners, and has supported a number of Cape Ann and North Shore charities and not-for-profit organizations. This year we are sponsoring a group study exchange with Johannesburg, South Africa, and will be hosting several individuals from that nation. The Rotary International Foundation has always received the Club's 100% support. We continue to grow in membership in the towns of Manchester and Essex, and welcome your participation!
